01Who this covers
This policy explains how 11th Studio handles personal information: on this website, when you contact us, and when we work together. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles.
-
02What we collect
Only what we need:
- When you contact us: your name, email, phone, business name and whatever you tell us about your project.
- When we work together: your contact and billing details, and the content you send us for your project.
- When you visit the site: basic technical details such as your IP address and browser, which our hosting provider handles to keep the site running and secure.
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing this site stores in your browser is whether you picked light or dark mode.
-
03How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, deliver and look after your project, send invoices, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We don't use it for anything else, and we never sell it.
We won't send you marketing unless you've said yes, and every marketing email will have an easy way to unsubscribe.
-
04Who we share it with
Only the services we use to run the studio, and only as far as they need it:
- Google Workspace, for email and documents;
- Cloudflare, for hosting and protecting our websites;
- our bank, accountant and other advisers, when needed for payments and tax.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
-
05Storage overseas
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States, and may use data centres in other countries. We choose reputable providers with strong security.
-
06Keeping it safe
We keep your information in secure, password-protected accounts with two-step login, and only we can access it.
We keep enquiries that don't go ahead for up to two years, and client records for at least five years, as Australian tax law requires. After that we delete them.
-
07Websites we run for clients
When we build and look after a website for a client, information that site collects (such as their customers' bookings) belongs to the client. We store it on their behalf, use it only to run their site, and handle it as set out in our agreement with them. The client's own privacy policy applies to it.
-
08Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, by emailing janith@11th.studio. We'll respond within 30 days, and it's free.
-
09Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your information, email us first at janith@11th.studio. We'll look into it and reply within 30 days.
If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
